Raffle Bus Heading to California!

The ABC is a collection of drivers and hobbyists whose preferred mode of transportation is old air-cooled VWs, preferably buses. If that sounds like the kind of crowd you'd like to hang out with, come to our monthly general meeting or look us up at a show.
We love camping with friends in the desert, up in the pines, or out on the coast. The ABC attends all the shows and we help our sister clubs just as they help us. We spend time working on our rides and welcome anyone interested in Volkswagen buses to join the fun. There is a Yahoo email group which comes in handy for setting up impromptu events or picking each other's brains.
We restore a bus every year and raffle it off in September at our signature event, the Jerome Jamboree. Last year's event was held September 11th through 13th at the Gold King Mine in beautiful Jerome, Arizona. Congratulations to Richard Kimbrough who won the 1965 two tone custom camper!

$13,000 from last year's proceeds was divided up and donated to the Jerome Volunteer Fire Department, Andrea's Closet, Hacienda Health Care, Paradise Valley Food Bank, Animal Benefits Club, and Project Linus. You and your VW are invited to join us for upcoming events.
We meet monthly at Rosita's Fine Mexican Food, (480) 966-0852, 960 W University Dr., Tempe, AZ 85281-7808, on the 3rd Wednesday of every month except December when there is no meeting. 7pm is the suggested start time but come early to get a good seat, have some tasty grub, and meet some friendly folks. So come on in, enjoy the site, and hopefully we'll see you at a meeting or event soon!
